UWS in Cyprus now!

With origins dating back to 1897, today the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is one of Scotland’s most innovative, modern, and international universities. As part of its internationalization strategy, it forms partnerships with prestigious education and research organizations around the world, thus opening up its experience and resources to the world, while also benefiting from the infinite diversity of knowledge and experience that is out there. It is within this strategy that the UWS has formed a collaborative partnership with the Management Centre of the Mediterranean in northern Cyprus to run certain UWS Masters programmes in Cyprus as well.

Currently we offer the following programmes:

Students who successfully complete the programmes identified above will receive a standard UWS degree parchment and this will be conferred by UWS at a formal graduation ceremony. The issuing and conferment of these awards are the responsibility of the University of the West of Scotland.

The Management Centre of the Mediterranean will abide by the University’s Regulations and will be subject to the University’s monitoring and review activities, in accordance with the UK Quality Code for Higher Education, as well as any audits requested by the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

UWS in Cyprus provides students with  the opportunity of getting a QAA-accredited Scottish diploma in northern Cyprus—the same quality and prestige with much lower costs for tuition, accommodation, and living in general. If you add to this almost 365 days of sun, the sea, central location with easy access from anywhere around the world (at the crossroads of three continents!), a safe and comfortable environment to live in, this makes a great opportunity for students.

The Management Centre of the Mediterranean also provides merit-based scholarships for UWS students in Cyprus.
